Okay guys, sorry it has been so long getting back to you. I have been working with clients like the MAD-HATTER!!! Which leads me to todays topic THE BUDGET. A few of my clients are working in their living room areas and talking about budget is never easy because often they never really know how much they are looking to spend for the room when I ask “do you have a budget in mind?”.
They typically glaze over and give a smile or a deer in the head lights look. At that point I tell them not to worry and I pull out a worksheet that breaks it down item by item in order to plan for their fabulous room. I like mixing things up with high-end and low-end pieces in order to a collected look in the home rather than just shopping at one place. Reason being is that it can look to too manufactured. Don’t by furniture in sets. I know. You can get a better deal, but that’s why.
Your buying in bulk and it will look that way therefore your home will have no soul! LOL not really but, you get my drift, right?
Okay, I have said my peace on that.. moving on first what you will need to do is get your floor plan in order. Then you are ready to shop.
And now Please watch my first video blog post for the rest of the instructions.
