It has accrued to me that there is a trend fast approaching if not already here. The color indigo is being showcased in all the design magazines lately and you can bet that will see more of it this fall.
This saturated hue can add a lot of drama and works well with others. Blue tones are my favorite color to work with because depending on their shade they can go masculine or feminine and yet somehow still remain very neutral.
Indigo is deep, majestic and mysterious. I think it works best with opposites that liven it up a bit like metallic’s , white and bright pops of color. Most people shy away from dark hue’s such as this, but I think it makes a great back drop for any interior design scheme.
Let see what this deeper shade of this purple blue otherwise known as Indigo looks best with shall we.
Indigo, Blues & Perakeet
Indigo & Robin’s Egg
Indigo, Pink & Green
Okay I know it’s looks more Navy but you get the idea….
Indigo, Mustard & Gold
Indigo & Neutrals with hit of Metallic Silver
Don’t think you could do the whole room try an accent
